The song and video iMarch was inspired by the Black Love Matterz (20 Blocks, 20 Weeks) Community Task Force in Milwaukee, WI. I, along with a number of concerned community members made a commitment to be present for the entire summer to promote peace in the streets and conflict resolution in the toughest neighborhoods in Killwaukee. We also took this to time promote the Justice Or Else Movement, spearheaded by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
We experienced a number of trials during the 20 Weeks. We experienced death, danger, fear, sabotage, slander, and in-fighting, but we persevered. Even though the summer is over our task force continues to meet on a regular basis and we remain committed to serving our community. I am now focusing much of my energy on the promotion and coordination of the 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March, which will take place in Washington, D.C. on 10-10-15. ‪#‎JusticeOrElse‬
